Leading Goal Kicker For Each Team In 2022

Goals are the main goal in AFL (see what I did there). Teams practice it all the time and if they don’t execute then games can be lost even if they were dominant on the field. The scoreboard decides the game at the end of the day.

Just look at this qualifying final between North Melbourne and Collingwood in 1979:

Collingwood had 6 more scoring shots than North but still lost by 39.

These days the players have fixed their kicking accuracy (for the most part) and can kick many goals in a season for their team.

Lets dive into the Leading Goal Kicker For Each Team In 2022.

Congratulations to Charlie Curnow on his Coleman Medal this year and bad luck to Tom Lynch for missing out by 1 goal. Many more to come for Lynch if he plays like he has this year again.
